Uhuy duelist. Apa kabar? Semoga selalu sehat dan kesuksesan
menyertai kita :D
Dengan Super Agent di sini, dan masih dengan sesi ‘ Deck
Review ‘ , dimana gw akan mengulas deck-deck unik yang topping di
tournament-tournament di Jabodetabek. Masih dalam scope yang kecil karena gw ga
punya dana buat jalan kemana-mana :’) .
Baiklah, tanpa memperpanjang preambule, kali ini gw akan
membahas sebuah deck yang baru-baru ini topping di tournament bernama TCG Asia Championship Qualifier atau TAC
Qualifier. TAC sendiri adalah sebuah event yang diadakan oleh Brain Navi Asia,
menyaring duelist top dari beberapa negara Asia untuk berkompetisi dalam
tournament berformat TCG. Indonesia meruapakan salah satu peserta dari
tournament tersebut.
Deck yang akan dibahas kali ini adalah sebuah deck yang
pernah mendominasi hampir 100% tournament di OCG, dan menyusul PePe sebagai
deck yang kena hyper banlist
Ya, deck itu adalah SPYRAL!
Dimainkan oleh William Teng,
seorang duelist yang sedang
menjelajahi dua banlist dalam YuGiOh, deck ini mampu menembus juara melewati
deck-deck yang mengisi jagat Meta banlist TCG. Dinosaurus, Anti Meta, True
Draco, bahkan Pendulum. Sebuah prestasi yang mengesankan karena SPYRAL ini bisa
menaklukkan lawan-lawan tersebut walau tanpa kartu-kartu yang rilis di OCG
seperti Needlefiber, dan Summon Sorceress (yang baru akan legal di TCG).
Dikenal sebagai pemain SPYRAL sejak rilisnya kartu TCG Ex
ini, sebelum Double Helix muncul, William Teng memang sudah mencoba varian
permainan SPYRAL. Dari Zoodiac SPYRAL sampai Pure SPYRAL yang dimainkannya
sampai saat ini. Dedikasinya terhadap SPYRAL sangat mengesankan, terbukti
dengan mempunya 2 Core Deck SPYRAL, baik OCG maupun TCG. Hanya saja, 1 varian
SPYRAL yang belum dicoba adalah Sentouki SPYRAL. Tidak lengkap bahannya,
celetuk sang duelist.
Senang karena bisa intip topdeck lawan, lalu bikin kesal
karena bisa atur-atur atau tau next draw lawan, inilah yang membuat sang
duelist menyukai deck ini. Bisa mengetahui strategi lawan dari draw dia, dan
bahkan membuat keuntungan dengan
menyesuaikan timing yang tepat untuk mengcounter play lawan. Sejak munculnya Double Helix, play SPYRAL
semakin mengerikan. Dengan kombo letter U/locking opponent’s EMZ, ditambah
dengan kehadiran SPYRAL-Sleeper dan Utility Wire sebagai trap yang gampang
disearch oleh Quik-Fix.
Gw berkesempatan untuk bertemu sang duelist secara
pribadi untuk sedikit mengintip decklist yang dia punya, berikut fotonya
Berkesempatan melihat decklistnya, gw juga mencoba untuk
berduel memakai deck SPYRAL yang gw punya. Dan juga banyak diajari tentang
bagaimana bermain SPYRAL post-banlist Januari 2018 (OCG). Menakjubkan bahwa
deck ini walau telah kena palu banlist, masih bisa melakukan Extra Link alias
Letter U untuk mengunci Extra Monster Zone lawan. Gw yang kebanyakan main
dengan deck waifu (Super Agent macam apa ini *lol) yakin untuk membawa deck ini
untuk tournament-tournament weekly.
Masuk era link, tidak afdol rasanya tidak menyematkan
Scapegoat di deck. Walau deck combo yang memerlukan kartu spesifik, William
Teng tetap membawa 1 Scapegoat dalam decknya sebagai secondary play apabila di
putaran pertama tidak memainkan apapun. Karena deck ini memang rentan break.
Memakai Shuffle Reborn sebagai secondary Monster Reborn, dan juga bisa dikirim
ke kuburan dengan Foolish Burial Goods dimana salah satu gunanya sebagai
bouncer SPYRAL-Resort apabila ketarik dan membuat efek ke 2 SPYRAL-Master Plan tidak
aktif.
Tidak yakin membawa ini untuk Qualifier TCG Asia
Championship, William Teng terpacu semangatnya setelah melihat salah satu
duelist Youtube yang topping di salah satu event YuGiOh! Dengan modal nekat dan
You-Only-Life-Once, serta Believe dan Do-Or-Die, mengantarkan duelist ini
menuju Final Round TCG Asia Championship yang akan diadakan di Jakarta. Semoga
bisa juara dan mewakili Indonesia ke Jepang nanti. Semangat, Double Agent!
